Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 8 white or green tea bags or 2 tbsp loose tea
  • 1 1/2 cups peach puree or peach nectar
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 5 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • 1 peach thinly sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat the water: Bring the water to just under a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags.
  • Steep the tea: Steep for 3 minutes, then remove the tea bags or strain out the loose tea.
  • Stir in peach and honey: While the tea is still warm, whisk in the peach puree and honey until the honey fully dissolves.
  • Chill: Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until fully chilled, about 1–2 hours.
  • Serve: Pour over ice in glasses or a pitcher. Garnish with fresh mint and peach slices.

Notes

Steep green or white tea no more than 3 minutes and use water just under a boil (about 175–185°F) — both prevent bitterness. Stir the honey in while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully instead of clumping at the bottom.
